First of all, this is the first product that has inspired me to really sit down and write about it. All the other reviews I have done have been the standard one to two liners that really tell you nothing.I basically bought these corsets ( I also purchased 2 others) to replace the back belt my spine specialist wants me to wear. With the deal I got from True Corsets, I purchased three for the price of my co-pay on one orthopedic brace. I only wish you guys took insurance payments! Anyway I placed my order early Friday morning. Received the confirmation email almost immediately and the shipping notification on Saturday. That email said it would be about a week until I received them. Imagine my surprise when they were sitting in my mailbox Monday afternoon! The only other corset (or should I say 'fashion corset') I ever bought was from one of those 'naughty' places that don't allow kids under 18 inside. Let's just say it was a terrible disappointment. Later a friend let me borrow a real Steele boned corset she had made for her sister's for wedding. She explained the differences between what I had blown over $100 for and hers. Was I pissed? Yes! I paid $100 for plastic (no support), no cotton lining (for garment strength), and hook and eyes (impossible to open and close and offers nothing toward garment strength or figure support)?!? When I read your product description then saw your prices, I was doubtful about the the quality of the product, but I took a chance, based on the other reviews. They were right. These Playgirl Corsets are awesome! My 23 year old daughter( don't tell anyone but I'm 46) saw it, now she wants one, too. I just might get one for all three of my girls. My hubby hasn't seen it in person yet, but the reply I got from the selfie I sent him tells me his roomies in DC are really jealous.**UpdateI have had my corset for almost a week now and have worn it for at least two to three hours if not more every day. I am slowly building up. This is much better than with my back brace, that I never wear. The only problem I have is, I might be needing new clothes, I don't seem to be eating as much. Wearing it makes me feel better in other ways, too, not just my back.

Bought for a costume, but after wearing it fo 12 hours I found that it also alleviated some of my back pain. Bonus! So now I wear it whenever I can.

This corset was beautiful in the picture but once I put it on there was no doubt in my mind that I picked the right one. Fit perfectly and was actually very comfortable. I've bought the fake corsets before and they've always cut in. This is the second real corset I've owned but the first did not fit correctly and was one hundred times the cost of this one.
