The Trixi under the bust corset is designed to give you an hourglass waist and is a good choice for those new to corset wearing.

This can be worn as a corset top over a shirt as illustrated by both Madonna, Victoria Beckham and a collection of WAG's. Or under a pencil skirt for a wasp waist or under a dress to give the wearer more control over the midriff. Due to it's multipurpose nature it is an ideal buy for someone who has not worn a corset before.

This corset has a total of 3 layers for strength with the inside layer of this corset in cotton for comfort.

I had trouble judging which size I needed. I'm about 33-36b, 28-31w, 38-41h. I needed this corset to do finish a costume and purposely didn't want it super tight. I need to breathe and move around comfortablyI bought the 28 inch one that was in stock and was amazed at the quality. This is a dang good corset, wow. And the packaging is done so well. I am impressed.I want to get the smaller 26 inch one as the 28 inch one I laced all the way up with no gaps more or less. So it held me in and even just that made a nice hourglass, but no room to tighten it further.Overall, very happy with product, and will work on my resizing. If you are on the fence, try this one.

i'd recommend going two inches smaller than your natural waist

this is a lot smaller than i expected it to be. and i had gone on their website and checked all the guidelines and measured my waist and so i know i got the size they told me to get, but still, i'd recommend going two inches smaller than your natural waist, first. i have a 24' waist, and i got a 20' and the back is as open as it can be, and it barely fits. i can only wear it one hour every other day cuz it's so tiny. when i tried to return it, they were very helpful, but being frugal i didnt want to pay for the shipping back and forth again. so i just kept it
